I have read many a page of Christian Theology, many a book, or tome, but I still prefer this work of literature, fining it more profound on many matters and themes. It is ferociously genuine, no matter how literally so, it is packed with serious levels of reflection and soulful insight, as well as keenly intelligent takes, articulated through the speech, actions and reactions of the fictional character base. It scenarios are fit for genuinely reflecting on, true or not, it contains THAT kind of truth that will never leave the reader-in-earnest. Why buy a heady book of faith theorems or elaborations for lay-preachers that many theology tomes will give, when a book such as the Brothers Karamazov will illuminate you, with regards to the practical business of religion, the ins and outs of it applied with ample friction in the sordid backdrop of 19th century Russia?
