Zoon Logon Echon Set Review

This is remarkable: the only digital piece of music I can recall spending as much as 14 quid on. Not a penny wasted! Still, today, I listen to this, what i believe to be a collection of 3 EPs from the formidable TESCO Germany label!! This album incites a cold rush of energy and blood to the head, throughout its runtime. I’m sat, tense at times, and during the harmonies, aloof and afloat upon the experience, at others.
I am trying to explain my affection for this record without sounding foolish. However, my inner child that spent his pre-teenage years building Lego spaceships, would like to stroke the keyboard out of my grasp, right now. I suppose my true comfort zone of things that interest me, and i find resonant with my being, are on display to some degree, but this is what the power of the music reduces me to. It’s embedded in my heart that when considering music, the SOUND reigns supreme. People are products of their environment in more ways than one. If the tree has no bark and no ecosystem suited it, it shan’t produce fruit. Cutting myself out of the picture, and full-on submission to the abandonment of cliche structure. This is a record, or set of records, that announces itself to the willing, and stands beyond control of anything but the legends buried below its feet. I write this like I sense something here as vital as a vial of DMT. If you are down with it, play this thing on a good sound-system, let it envelop you. Surround yourself with the noises and chaos. If you have a collection of strange things in your house, and books about HAARP, or whatever your poisons may be, here’s an excellent piece of work for your soul to steep in. Preferable at night, but also turns sunny days into something strange; something artificial. It’ll work with you or wont, but I highly recommend this as I would a hot bath. Time, place, and energy need to be right. Listener beware: If you find music that tickles your fancy, as much as this one did me, you may find yourself becoming as a little child! Over music!
