Dear Father God in Heaven,
Deliver me from the walls of this hospital,
The ineptitude of the staff and impotency of their assistance,
From their inability to provide:
Health to my body,
Aid to my mind,
Or comfort to my soul.
May you provide help to them to see their error,
In judgement,
And in their ways,
That have done nothing,
From my admission til the present moment,
To benefit or aid me in any fashion, shape or form,
For your service,
For my health,
Or the benefit of others with similar stories to tell.
May the doctors and bosses in charge,
In their erroneous ways,
Cloudy jugements,
And twisted views,
Not be spared the full scrutiny,
Of the rationale of the Holy,
Of your perfect will,
And righteous gaze and judgement,
Which, as our entire life does,
Rests in you, my Lord.
And my I, Your servant Richard Elliott,
Continue in strength and sincerity,
In his fight for and toward what is truly good, right, and honorable.
In your holy name,
And of the eternal trinity,
Amen.
