Aliens land at the vatican.
A group of spectators show up.
The aliens ask to be taken to their leader.
They are taken to see the Pope, who welcomes them,
invites them in, to talk to them politely,
and potentially convert them to Christianity.
To his surprise, the aliens say they love Christ.
“Fantastic man, and very much worshipped in our world”
The Pope replies “Oh good!
We are all preparing for his second coming!”
The aliens say: “Second?
He has come to our planet more than a dozen times!”
The pope is visibly shocked,
and as the aliens quizzically look at him,
after a period of silence, politely ask,
“Maybe he didn’t like the chocolates you gave him?”
The Pope’s tone of voice betrays a shock that’s reached past it’s limits,
“CHOCOLATES?? WHAT IS MEANT BY THIS?
EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!”
After exchanging glances at each other,
the aliens look a little perplexed and bewildered.
“Why?” the aliens ask, casually,
“What did you guys give him?”
