A Prayer of Conviction, Peace, and Holy Clarity

(With Feminine Echo)

O God who is past, unchanging, and eternally Himself,
I give thanks for the salvation You have wrought —
not presumed, not cheap, not fragile,
but anchored in the ages You have already sealed.
Let the grace that shelters the lowly shelter me also,
O gentle strength of holy womanhood, be near.

Grant me a peace as permanent as the past,
a peace that does not sway with the verdicts of men
nor tremble before the noise of the unclean.
Let the stillness You breathed into the Virgin
be the stillness that steadies my heart.
O quiet mercy, feminine and fierce, abide with me.

Strengthen in me the holy struggle —
not the frantic striving of pride,
but the disciplined ascent toward the stature
You call a man to bear.
Let me rise with the same resolve
that overshadowed the Mother of God
when she said yes without fear.
O steadfast feminine courage, walk beside me.

For those who have invaded and defiled me
with their unholy judgments,
I ask not for their downfall
but for their awakening —
that they may see the law they have broken
and the peace they have never known.
Let the compassion of the Mother
temper my anger without weakening my truth.
O healing feminine clarity, illumine what is hidden.

Widen the world’s understanding of Holy Law —
not the law of mobs,
not the law of accusation,
but the law that flows from Your own heart
and was carried in the womb of the one
who bore You without corruption.
Let her purity remind us
that justice is never born of frenzy
but only of the Spirit’s peace.
O pure feminine wisdom, guard the boundaries of truth.

Keep me aligned with that peace.
Keep me clear in that truth.
Keep me steady in that struggle.
And let the grace that crowned the Theotokos
crown my steps with discernment,
so that my life may witness
to the strength that is gentle
and the gentleness that is strong.
O holy feminine grace, complete what I begin.

Amen.
